The Giving Tree is a clothing closet at James Monroe High School that provides students with essential items such as clothing, shoes, accessories, feminine hygiene products, socks, underwear, and toiletries. All items are either donated by community members or purchased through funds acquired from community donations. All items are free to students in need. Studies show that a lack of appropriate clothing often causes children to miss school, and the Giving Tree seeks to address this problem.

Want to help? You can drop off donations at the JM front office during school hours. Keep in mind that we can only accept adult sizes for donations. Clothing donations can be new or gently used, but we ask that all undergarment donations be new.
