The Blacks In Government (BIG) STEM competition will encourage and help prepare high school students to pursue a college education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). It will provide academic and social support to participants so they have the competencies to become successful STEM enthusiasts. Commitment, discipline, and desire to achieve are all tools for success.
Chapter Awards: Certificates of participation and chapter-determined awards will be presented for first, second, and third place winners.
Regional and National Awards: Winners will receive awards at the regional and national levels. Regional first place winners will compete in the national competition at BIG’s National Training Institute.
