USMMA Prospective Female Student Admissions Event

Are you a female student interested in attending a federal service academy? The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) is one of the five federal service academies that include West Point, Annapolis, Air Force, and Coast Guard academies. Their Admissions Office will be hosting a special session to answer any/all questions you may have about service academy life.

Date: June 16, 2022

Time: 6:30 p.m. EDT

Who: All interested students and counselors

What: Virtual question and answer session with some of their outstanding female Midshipmen and athletic coaches. This will be the perfect opportunity to learn about life at a federal service academy, athletic team opportunities, the Sea Year training experience, and more!

The USMMA’s digital viewbook highlights Midshipman life, sports, sailing, academic programs and majors, the unique year at sea training, and more.

Graduates of the United States Merchant Marine Academy earn a Bachelor of Science degree, a U.S. Coast Guard license, and a commission in the United States Armed Forces. Their graduates have an option to work as ship’s officers in the United States maritime industry or serve as commissioned officers on active duty in any branch of service.
