Good Evening, Hugh Mercer Students and Families,
This is your principal, Mr. Snyder, with your weekly update for the upcoming week. We are celebrating Teacher and School Staff Appreciation Week starting on Monday. Everything that Hugh Mercer does for our students and families wouldn't be possible without the efforts and amazing character of our teachers and staff. We are proud of the staff and the opportunities they create each day for your children.
SOL testing resumes on May 7 for our 4th and 5th graders. Specific dates and subject tests are listed below. We also begin our PALS assessments for grades K-3.

We will have our Spring Choral Concert on Wednesday, May 8, for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes starting 6:30pm.
A reminder that Monday, May 13, is now a student holiday and students do not report to school that day.

May 13: No School (Teacher Workday)
May 14: 5th Grade Visits WGMS
May 15: 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony
May 18: Hugh Mercer Garden Celebration

May 23: JMHS Graduation Walk and Graduation Ceremony
