Graduation is almost here!
Commencement for the Class of 2025 will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 16, at the Anderson Center of the University of Mary Washington. The James Monroe High School faculty and staff look forward to watching another group of deserving young men and women cross into the next phase of their life. Our goal is to make our commencement exercises meaningful and memorable for all involved.
At this time, we plan to give each graduate six (6) tickets for admission to the graduation ceremony. Admission to graduation will be with a ticket only. This includes small children. Due to the size of our graduating class, no additional requests for tickets will be honored.
Graduation practice will be held on May 16, at 12:30 PM, at the Anderson Center. Attendance for this practice is mandatory, and seniors must be on time.
Proper attire for students participating in graduation includes:
Dark shoes, dark socks, long dark pants, shirt and tie, cap, gown, and tassel
OR
Dark shoes (no high heels), dark dress, cap, gown, and tassel
