The 8 JMHS students attending the international DECA competition this week in Anaheim California had a great time competing, networking, and attending workshops. JMHS DECA was recognized for its Membership Campaign but most importantly, two students made it on the awards stage.
Palmer Van Zandt received two achievement medals, a finalist medal, a top ten medal, and a 2nd place trophy for Personal Financial Literacy. Palmer’s 2nd place finish (out of 225 students)is an amazing accomplishment.
Sara Furmuli received a top achievement medal for one of her events in Food Marketing.
