Key Information
As a reminder, Monday, January 20, there is no school in recognition of Martin Luther King Day.
Report cards were sent home on Friday, January 17, in your child's backpack. Please take a moment to check their backpack. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to your child's teacher to schedule a conference.
Family/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, January 21, from 5-7 PM. Please work with your child's teacher to schedule a conference. (

In addition to Tuesday, January 21, we will be hosting Family Life Education Preview Night, also from 5-7 PM. This event will give parents the opportunity to learn about the Family Life Education Curriculum. Lessons for Family Life Education will begin in February for grades K-5. (Family Life Education Flyer

The VALLS testing window will begin January 13 through February 3 and student reading plans will be updated upon completion of the mid-year VALLS assessment.
Fredericksburg City Public Schools Kindergarten registration will be hosted on the following dates, times, and locations:
