Upcoming Assessments:
VALLS Assessment
We have begun our mid-year VALLS testing for K-3. Student reading plans will be updated upon completion of the mid-year VALLS assessment.
WIDA Access Test:
All English Language Learners (ELLs) in Virginia are required to take the WIDA ACCESS test annually to assess their English language proficiency. This assessment evaluates progress and proficiency in the four language domains: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.
If your student receives ELL services, they will participate in this important evaluation. The testing period is scheduled for February 3 – February 28. Should you have any questions about the WIDA ACCESS test, please feel free to contact your student's ESOL teacher.
Quarter 3 Benchmark Assessments:
The testing period for quarter 3 benchmarks for grades 2nd-5th is scheduled for February 24 - March 6.
