Good afternoon Preschool Penguins and Families,

We hope you had a wonderful weekend together and are ready for another great week! Please see below for a peek at the upcoming week.

Firstly, please be reminded that the school will be closed next week for Spring Break beginning March 24. We hope you enjoy this special time with your family, and we look forward to welcoming students back on April 1.

Reminders:

1. We kindly ask that you refrain from sending your child on the bus or into school with food in the morning. We provide a nutritious breakfast here at school each morning for all students, ensuring they start their day with a healthy meal.

2. Don't forget to update your child's change of clothes at school to mirror the change in weather.

3. We invite our rising kindergartner families to our FCPS RCD Information and Feedback Night on April 7, from 5-7 PM at JMHS. Dinner will be provided. RCD is the approach used in K-12 very similar to our approach. It shifts the goals of school discipline from making a student behave to empowering a student to take ownership of his or her behavior.
