Fredericksburg City Public Schools (FCPS) announced plans at the April School Board meeting that it will be expanding opportunities to return students to four days of in-person learning for identified Pre K-12 students.
Wednesday, April 14th, at 6:00pm via Zoom. This event is meant to facilitate an exploration of the various pathways available to you after graduation, with representatives from 4-year schools (colleges/universities), 2-year schools (community college), military, and the workforce/apprenticeships presenting on their respective pathways

The purpose of the GRAD Program is to help youth create a path from high school graduation to their future. GRAD program provides youth with resources that inspire confidence and foster the skills necessary to secure employment. This is accomplished through internships, networking opportunities, mentoring, and continuing education through workshops that teach life skills, job skills, work ethics, college preparedness, and leadership development.
The Virginia Latino Higher Education Network's (VALHEN) Hispanic College Institute (HCI) is a FREE 3-day, virtual program that gives rising juniors and seniors in high school the opportunity to learn about the college admissions process while meeting Latinx professionals and engaging with Latinx College Students from all over the Commonwealth of Virginia. There is NO COST to the student to attend this virtual program.
